Contests
- Choose contest themes and submit to project manager for approval
- Arrange for prizes (PR company will help with this)
- Prepare a budget (shipping and any other expected expenses)
- Arrange for judging
- Implement the contests
- Arrange for notification of winners and recognition of winners
Presenter Liaison
This committee will be made up of the existing coordinators for each region
- Become familiar with all aspects of the International Dog Bite Prevention Challenge plans
- Become familiar with all aspects of the Be a Tree program (FAQ available at the website)
- Answer questions from presenters

School Liaison
This committee will require representatives from many regions (1 per state/province?). This could be split into 2 – one for Canada/international and one for US
- Send press releases created by the PR team to local media
- Find out how to best get information to the schools
- Send letter explaining the event to school boards and/or education ministries in local area
- Answer questions from schools in your area

Social Media
- (blog, FB and Twitter) - encourage use of Twitter – put Twitter feed on website
Media and Promotion
Promote the event to the media.
Safety Organizations
- Find out who the safety organizations are in each region
- Contact them to see if they will sponsor or become a partner and help us promote
Partner Organizations
- Identify and recruit suitable partner organizations. They will be “Outreach Partners” who do not pay any money, but are listed at our site with a link back to them. They agree to help us promote our event through blog, newsletter, website etc. Here is a link to our partner page:

Grant Writing
- Identify national/international granting agencies (e.g. PetSmart Charities) and prepare grant proposals
- Assist presenters with grant proposals to local granting agencies that they identify
