Be a Tree Program

  • 74 Be a Tree presenters

  • 58 teacher kits sold

  • Be a Tree embraced by several communities on a wide-scale basis

  • Veterinary technicians registered with their provincial associations can earn Continuing Education credits by presenting the Be a Tree program in Ontario and Saskatchewan

  • The Canadian Association of Animal Health Technologists and Technicians endorses the Be a Tree program

Doggone Smart at Work Program

  • Teresa Lewin and Joan Orr consulted with the Latham Foundation, who produced the DVD "Dog Defense" to help prevent dog bites to workers on the job

  • The Doggone Smart at Work program was customized for telephone technicians to be used for safety training with Bell Canada technicians to begin in the spring of 2007
